Nottingham Forest secured Premier League safety with two matches to spare and reached the Europa League semi-finals, losing to eventual winners Aston Villa. They did so under four managers.
Nottingham Post’s end-of-season ratings capture a mixed campaign, with three nines and one four issued. January departures were not graded.
Club Player of the Season Neco Williams, Elliot Anderson and Morgan Gibbs-White all scored nine out of 10. Ibrahim Sangare earned eight and a half for his influence in midfield.
Matz Sels and Stefan Ortega were both given eights, Ortega limited to 10 outings after effectively arriving on a free from Manchester City. In defence, Murillo received eight, Nikola Milenkovic and Morato seven, and Jair Cunha eight, although he is no full-back.
Up front, Igor Jesus ended as joint top scorer in the Europa League with seven and was marked seven and a half, sharper once Chris Wood returned. Wood took seven, while Taiwo Awoniyi posted seven and a half after a timely contribution.
Callum Hudson-Odoi was on six before injury. Dan Ndoye and Dilane Bakwa took fives. John Victor’s error and injury at Villa Park left him on five, Angus Gunn was marked six and is almost certain to leave on a free, Willy Boly also had six and is likely to move on, and loanee Lorenzo Lucca received four with his option not being taken up.
Head coach Vitor Pereira now turns to 2026/27, aiming to climb the table and return to Europe.
