Nottingham Forest XI vs Man City confirmed as Sean Dyche makes selection call | OneFootball

Sean Dyche has confirmed Nottingham Forest’s line-up to face Manchester City, making one change from Fulham. The Reds look to get back on track in the first of successive home matches.

According to Nottingham Post, Nicolas Dominguez starts and Douglas Luiz is on the bench. Brazilian John Victor keeps his place in goal.

The back four is Nicolo Savona, Nikola Milenkovic, Murillo and Neco Williams. Dominguez partners Elliot Anderson in midfield, with Omari Hutchinson, Morgan Gibbs-White and Callum Hudson-Odoi supporting Igor Jesus.

The bench is Sels, Morato, Taiwo Awoniyi, Luiz, Arnaud Kalimuendo, James McAtee, Dilane Bakwa, Oleksandr Zinchenko and Zach Abbott.

Forest were beaten 1-0 at Fulham before Christmas after a below-par display. That was a missed chance to extend the gap to the bottom three, which remains at five points.

Dyche’s side have not suffered back-to-back defeats in any competition under him, and they will want to keep that going against City.

It will be an emotional afternoon Trentside as the club pay tribute to John Robertson, who died on Christmas Day aged 72. There will be a minute’s applause before kick-off, with members of his family attending as special guests.
