Arsenal still have several fitness concerns to monitor during the extended international break, although there have been some encouraging developments ahead of the Premier League return against Leeds United on October 10.
According to The Standard, Ben White and Cristhian Mosquera are among those who could return against Leeds, while Martin Odegaard has received a significant boost with Norway.
Martin Odegaard
Odegaard suffered an ankle knock following Bernardo Silva’s late challenge in Norway’s 2-1 defeat to Portugal.
After missing training on Tuesday, the Arsenal captain returned to light work on Wednesday and has now been named in Norway’s official 23-man squad to face Wales tonight.
Tests reportedly showed “nothing dramatic”, although his inclusion does not guarantee he will start.
Kai Havertz
Havertz has returned to Arsenal after suffering a muscle strain during Germany’s draw with the Netherlands.
He is undergoing treatment in North London, with optimism that the problem is not long term. Leeds remains a possible return target.
Ezri Konsa
Konsa completed England’s defeat to Spain before following an individual training programme.
He was an unused substitute in Tuesday’s 2-0 win over the Czech Republic and has travelled with the squad for their next fixture, suggesting the issue is not currently considered serious.
Declan Rice
Rice withdrew from England duty, but he is not believed to be carrying a current injury and is instead using the break to recover and rest.

Ben White
White has been out since suffering a groin problem against Sunderland. Arteta offered a positive update before Brighton, and October 10 remains the expected return target.
Cristhian Mosquera
Mosquera has been sidelined with a hamstring problem since the Aston Villa win. He has since been working at Valencia’s training facilities as he steps up his recovery and could also return against Leeds.
Piero Hincapie
Hincapie confirmed during a live stream that injury had prevented him from joining Ecuador for this international window, saying simply: “I’m injured, guys, I’m injured.” No details of the problem or recovery timescale have yet been given.
William Saliba
Saliba remains the long-term absentee with his back injury. Surgery is not required, but his return is currently expected later in the year, potentially after the November international break.
Jurrien Timber can now be removed from the injury list after returning for both Arsenal and the Netherlands.
