FC Barcelona and PSG, two of the most in-form teams in Europe since last season, are set to face off in a blockbuster tie in matchday 2 of the UEFA Champions League League Phase.

There is no doubt that this is going to be a highly entertaining match for the fans, but one aspect that could reduce the quality of this game a bit is the absence of some of the key players for both sides for this match.

PSG were set to miss several of their stars for this game, and this has actually turned out to be the case. The Parisian team has announced the squad for the game against the Blaugranes, and four of their key players, Ousmane Dembele, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Desire Doue, and Marquinhos, are all absent from this list.

Meanwhile, Barcelona have already welcomed back Lamine Yamal, but it remains to be seen whether other players like Alejandro Balde will be available for this game. Raphinha, Joan Garcia, Gavi, and Fermin Lopez are still recovering from injuries and are expected to miss out.

Still, both Barcelona and PSG have enough quality in their ranks to put up a show for the spectators, and there can be a lot of fireworks even without the likes of Ousmane Dembele and Kvaratskhelia on the pitch.
