Free ticket booking in advance required

The Austrian national team has reached the knockout stage of the FIFA World Cup 2026™, and we are all cheering them on together! In the Round of 32, Austria will face Spain on Thursday 2 July at 21:00 CEST.

Following the positive response last time, we are delighted - together with the City of Salzburg - to invite you once again to the official public viewing event at the stadium, now with increased capacity!

Here you will find a summary of all the important information. Please note that booking a free ticket in advance is required this time! Free travel via public transport is not included with the ticket.

Free entrance for up to 4,000 fans | Ticket booking required!

As with the recent match against Argentina, two large LED screens (36 m² each) will be set up next to the pitch for the public viewing, with the West Stand serving as the spectator area. Additionally, the match will be broadcast on the stadium's two main screens (92 m² each) to ensure more fans have a view of the action.

Admission is free. However, for organisational reasons, a free admission ticket must be booked in advance via our Ticket Shop. Tickets are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, with a free choice of seats at the stadium. A maximum of two tickets can be booked per person.

Limited capacity for an ideal event

To allow more people to attend the event, capacity has been increased to 4,000 - and the organisation and infrastructure have been adjusted accordingly.

Visibility of the two LED screens (or the two stadium screens) is guaranteed for this number of fans. Seating within the stadium is unreserved. We therefore strongly recommend arriving early to secure the best spots, as some areas may have restricted views.

To ensure a fair experience for everyone, we recommend arriving together. Unfortunately, it is not possible to save seats for others. Please note: entry is not possible without a ticket booked online in advance!

Doors open at 19:00 CEST via the West II entrance.

Kick-off is at 21:00 CEST - the match will also be broadcast live on ServusTV and ServusTV On.

Catering

Food and drink will be available. Our new kiosk provider foodaffairs will offer their new selection of food and beverages.

Getting here & important notes

You can reach the stadium via the usual routes: parking is available at the stadium car park and there are good public transport connections as well as bicycle parking facilities. No additional shuttle services or off-site parking areas are provided.

The event ticket does NOT entitle the holder to free use of public transport.

As a family-friendly sports venue featuring extensive areas for children and young people, the stadium enforces a strict no-smoking policy in all seating areas. The only exceptions are the designated smoking zones located on the stadium concourse.
