Orlando City confirm Antoine Griezmann to join at season’s end | OneFootball

Antoine Griezmann, 35, will leave Atlético Madrid at the end of his contract in June to join Orlando City in MLS.

The club said in a statement on Tuesday that he will arrive in July 2026 on a deal running to the 2027-28 season, with an option for 2028-29, as a designated player.

He has long been attracted by the prospect of playing in MLS.

This season the forward has played 43 matches for Atlético, scoring 13 and providing four assists.

He can still hope to win two trophies, with Atlético to face Barcelona in the Champions League quarter-finals on 8 and 14 April, then Real Sociedad in the Copa del Rey final on 18 April.
