Ousmane Dembélé (29) has reaffirmed that his future lies at Paris Saint-Germain during an interview with RMC Sport show Rothen s’enflamme

There have been doubts regarding Dembélé’s continuation at PSG beyond the end of the season. The Frenchman was named Ballon d’Or winner back in September after an extraordinary season on an individual title, which converted into collective titles for PSG (Ligue 1, Coupe de France, UEFA Champions League…). Despite this season being more injury-hit, Dembélé remains a key player for Les Parisiens.

However, reports in France earlier this season suggested that there may be difficulties with contract extension talks, with his current deal running until 2028.

However, speaking back in March, in a press conference attended by Get French Football News, Dembélé sought to allay fears of an exit. “There is no reason not to extend,” he began. “But it is not me who makes the decisions. The discussions around my contract are between my agent and the club. I haven’t managed that since the very start of my career.”

He is now even more emphatic regarding his short-term future at the club. “I’m still under contract for another two years. Everything is going very well at the club. I’m feeling really good with everyone, the staff, the players, and the president. Do I want to extend? If I’m offered a contract! (laughs) I’m here and I am happy at the club. I hope to be here for a long time,” he told Rothen s’enflamme.

Dembélé added, “Will I be here next year? 100%! I have two years left on my contract.”
