👊Over 10 GOALS: La Rojita tore San Marino apart | OneFootball

The Spain U21 national team delivered a true rout after crushing San Marino 0-13 at the San Marino Stadium, emphatically putting their qualification for the final phase of the European Championship in this age category firmly on track.

Historic masterclass from Carlos Espí

The match was one-sided from the opening whistle. The standout player of the night was striker Carlos Espí, who scored a brilliant five-goal haul to lead La Rojita’s dazzling display. Rodrigo Mendoza, Pablo García, Jacobo Ramón, Yarek, Virgili twice, and Mario Martín completed the overwhelming scoreline.

The negative note of the match

The only blemish on the day was the baffling sending-off of Jesús Rodríguez in stoppage time, as he was shown a red card after striking an opponent right in front of the assistant referee. Spain will look to mathematically secure their place in the European tournament next Tuesday against Romania.
