Tottenham Hotspur entertained Crystal Palace at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium earlier tonight as they hoped to earn a good result at home in the London derby. Spurs made a decent start to the game as they got their noses ahead in the 34th minute thanks to Dominic Solanke’s effort. However, Micky van de Ven was sent off by the referee just four minutes later.
Ismaila Sarr equalised from the penalty spot in the 40th minute. Jorgen Strand Larsen put the visitors ahead in injury time before Sarr scored again for the Eagles in the dying embers of the first half. Igor Tudor’s men were trailing 3-1 at the half-time break.
The home team failed to mount a comeback in the second half and crashed to a dismal 3-1 defeat in the London derby.
