Palmeiras register Malian defender Tiecoura Konaté in CBF BID | OneFootball

Palmeiras have registered Malian centre-back Tiecoura Konaté in the CBF's BID, and the player has signed a three-year contract with the club.

According to Nosso Palestra, the move continues the club's recent focus on overseas recruitment. Kone and Miguel Bilong, from Ivory Coast and Cameroon respectively, have also been registered and named in squads for Campeonato Brasileiro fixtures.

Konaté is two point zero one metres tall, the second tallest in the Palmeiras squad, behind Carlos Miguel at two point zero four metres.

He previously played for Africa Foot, a Malian side that invests in youth development.
