Panichelli moves one behind Greenwood after Strasbourg beat Lyon | OneFootball

Strasbourg beat Lyon 3-1 on Sunday, keeping Joaquin Panichelli in close pursuit of Marseille's Mason Greenwood in the Ligue 1 scoring race.

A week earlier, both forwards had scored in Marseille's 2-2 draw with Strasbourg.

On Friday, Greenwood was unable to find the net as Marseille lost 0-2 at Brest.

Two days later, Panichelli converted a penalty for Strasbourg's third against Lyon, with Martial Godo also on the scoresheet.

The Argentine has 13 goals from 23 appearances, placing him second in Ligue 1's scoring chart, one behind Greenwood.
