Monaco beat Marseille 2-0 at Stade Louis-II as Paris Brunner's brace sent them top of Ligue 1, rising from seventh.

In the 13th minute, Brunner glanced a header into the bottom right after Aleksandr Golovin's set-piece cross opened the game up.
