Inter’s fitness picture is coming into sharper focus ahead of Parma, with Spence rejoining full group training at Appiano Gentile while Dimarco and Calhanoglu edge closer to involvement and Stones continues working apart from the squad.

According to journalist Andrea Paventi via Sky Sport 24, Cristian Chivu’s squad returned to work on Monday 28 September after a week of rest, giving the coaching staff their first proper look at several closely-managed cases before the Serie A restart.

Spence trained with the group, the clearest signal yet that the wing-back is nearing full integration into Chivu’s plans after a prolonged adaptation spell.

Dimarco, who withdrew from Italy duty because of a knee issue, worked only partially alongside his teammates. Calhanoglu, meanwhile, is steadily ramping up his workload as he continues managing his recent adductor issue.

Paventi indicated that both the Turkish playmaker and the Italian left-sided wing-back should be available for Saturday’s trip to Parma, though neither has been formally confirmed for Chivu’s matchday squad.

Stones remains the more cautious case. The Englishman trained separately once again, following a longer recovery programme than his teammates.

No formal diagnoses or fresh medical timelines accompanied Monday’s update, with Chivu’s staff instead focused on managing four players through different recovery or workload situations.
