Pau Cubarsi sends clear La Liga message after 2-0 Barcelona win over Getafe | OneFootball

Despite missing some of their most important players, FC Barcelona were able to get a win in one of the most defensively difficult sides in Spain, i.e., Getafe, at the Coliseum.

Fermin Lopez and Marcus Rashford scored the two goals for the Blaugrana side in the match, but other players stood out as well. One of these was Pedri, who received ovation from rival fans as well, and another was Pau Cubarsi.

As Mundo Deportivo has reported, the defender also talked to the media after the game, and expressed his desire to win the league title as soon as possible:

“We lacked a bit more defensive solidity, but in the end, I managed to get a touch. I’m not sure if I cleared it, but it went out and gave us some breathing room to go for the second goal on the counter.”
