Several reports mentioned that Noah Atubolu will be in Germany’s upcoming squad, which will be announced tomorrow by Jürgen Klopp. The 24-year-old started his Eintracht Frankfurt career on the wrong foot before saving his sixth consecutive penalty-kick in their first win of the season against Mainz 05.

BILD also reported that his teammates Jonathan Burkardt and Younes Ebnoutalib will also make the squad. It’ll be the first call-up for the latter, while fellow attacker Burkardt is yet to score a goal for the national team.

Atubolu was called up by Julian Nagelsmann when Oliver Baumann dropped out of the squad with sickness last year. However, he hasn't made any appearances for the national team yet. Baumann is expected to completely miss out, despite his role as the number one throughout the World Cup qualifiers.

The former Freiburg shot-stopper is three games shy of making his 100th Bundesliga appearance. Atubolu featured 22 times for the U21 national team coached by Antonio Di Salvo. Germany will play four games in the space of ten days in the extended international break.
