Bournemouth striker Eli Junior Kroupi is on Manchester City’s attacking shortlist for this summer.

Sky Sport Switzerland claims manager Pep Guardiola admires the Frenchman, who has impressed in his debut season in the Premier League.

He has scored 11 goals, becoming the first teenager to reach double figures in the competition since the 1999/2000 season.

Kroupi’s agent has reportedly met with City director Hugo Viana, who has also been impressed by his skill set. However, City have yet to contact Bournemouth over a potential deal.

The Cherries want to keep Kroupi beyond this summer, but could consider a sale if they receive at least an €80 million offer.

City will face competition as Arsenal have contacted his agent, while Paris Saint-Germain are also considering a move for him.

The Cityzens are only likely to make a move for Kroupi if there is an attacking departure.

They are currently well-stocked at centre-forward – Kroupi’s natural position – with Erling Braut Haaland and Omar Marmoush.

However, Marmoush could leave this summer. Aston Villa are interested in the Egyptian international.

Marmoush’s departure would free up space, and the proceeds from his potential sale could fund a move for Kroupi.

It is unclear whether Kroupi would be open to joining City, given the uncertainty of playing regularly. He would be expected to play second fiddle to Haaland.
