Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is expected to leave Marseille for Deportivo La Coruña. According to L'Équipe, the 37-year-old is close to agreeing a move to the newly promoted La Liga side.

He was not set to fly to Ivory Coast with the Marseille squad on Wednesday afternoon, having instead returned to his home near Aix-en-Provence at midday.

Deportivo have agreed a fee of about €1.5m with Marseille.

Corum of Türkiye have also made a pitch, offering €3.5m net per season over two years.

Aubameyang is leaning towards the Spanish option and could finalise terms shortly.
