Portugal training halted again by thunderstorm in Palm Beach | OneFootball

Portugal’s training session in Palm Beach, Florida, was halted after around half an hour because of a violent thunderstorm, L'Équipe reports.

The 15-minute media window had just closed when Thursday’s workout was stopped at the Seleçao’s base. Heavy rain sent players and journalists scrambling for cover.

Roberto Martinez’s squad had already seen a session interrupted on 14 June for the same reason.

Portugal face Colombia in Miami in the night from Saturday to Sunday, with kick-off at half past one in France. It is their third match and is decisive in the battle for top spot in Group K.

They should be at full strength, as all players were available at Thursday’s session. The squad completed their work indoors before returning to the hotel by coach.
