Mark has found three plays for MD25 in the Premier League
Manchester United v TottenhamSaturday 7 February, 12:30Live on TNT Sports
Manchester United are enjoying their best unbeaten Premier League run since February 2022 but the resurgent Red Devils look a little too short to support against Tottenham on Saturday. Instead, goals look difficult to dismiss with Michael Carrick's men coming into this clash having scored at least twice in all three of his fixtures.
Going forward, there's a buzz about United again. However, the hosts have still only managed three EPL clean sheets this term - only Wolves and West Ham have managed fewer. Against a Spurs side that's managed to get on the scoresheet in 20 of 24 top-flight tussles under Thomas Frank, Both Teams To Score has to appeal at Old Trafford.
It's a wager that's won in 18/24 (75%) Man Utd matches this season and we can partner BTTS with Both Teams 1+ Card for an appetising 1.91 shot via the Bet Builder. Both teams have been booked in 11 of 12 at Old Trafford, as well as nine of Spurs' 12 away days thus far, while 12 of the most recent 13 head-to-heads have also delivered.
Michael Oliver isn't the most eye-catching appointment, yet the referee has produced a caution for each side in 11 of his past 16 matches, even flashing 3+ cards at both teams in two of his last four fixtures. The 12:30 slot has also proven profitable for goals and cards backers with 2.82 goals and 4.47 cards per-game in the early kick-offs this term.
Wolves v BournemouthSaturday 7 February, 15:00
We were the width of the woodwork away from landing a big fish with Yerson Mosquera to score last weekend and I'm eager to get involved with the big Colombian again when Wolves welcome Chelsea to Molineux. But instead of backing the brute to bag, it's well worth focussing on the Old Gold centre-half to continue his card collecting rampage.
The tenacious defender picked up a caution against Bournemouth last time out, his ninth booking in 13 starts. Amazingly, he's been carded in eight of his last 10 and is avergaing an outrageous 0.71 cards per-90 across the campaign. He's bound to be busy against a fluent Chelsea yet he's as big as 21/10 to be cautioned again.
That 21/10 implies a 32% chance of success but Mosquera's performances across his debut season in the Premier League season suggests that price should be much shorter.
Brighton v Crystal PalaceSunday 8 February, 14:00Live on Sky Sports
Neither Brighton nor Crystal Palace head into the M23 rivalry in noteworthy form. Since the start of December, only Wolves and Burnley have won fewer Premier League points than these two. Draws have stalled the Seagulls' progress, whilst Palace have been hit hard by injuries, suspensions, departures, plus speculation surrounding key personnel.
Seven of the last 13 meetings between these two have ended all-square and the stalemate again stands-out on Sunday. However, I'm eager to support cards first-and-foremost with 10 of the most recent 17 head-to-heads featuring at least five bookings; this term, Brighton are avergaing 2.42 cards with Palace following suit on 2.00 per-game.
Referee Thomas Bramall is avergaing 3.53 cards per-game and so Over 3.5 Cards appears a solid foundation for a Bet Builder and I'll partner that play alongside Jan Paul Van Hecke to commit 1+ foul for a 2.31 shot. The Dutchman has made a misdemeanor in nine of his last 10 tussles and has history against the Eagles.
Van Hecke has been booked in the last two encounters with Crystal Palace and comes into this clash having been cautioned in three of his last seven Brighton outings. What's more, the Albion ace will be up against numerous Palace threats with Ismaila Sarr, Brennan Johnson, Yeremy Pino, Daniel Munoz and Jorgen Strand Larsen all capable of drawing punishment from their opposition.
