PSG face disciplinary action after flares and discriminatory tifos during their 5-0 win over Marseille at the Parc des Princes. According to L'Équipe, the club have been summoned to the LFP disciplinary commission on Wednesday evening.

The match, played on Sunday eight February, was one sided. Paris supporters set off roughly 100 flares, recorded by the match delegates. They also displayed a large DPD-themed banner suggesting Marseillais were delivery drivers, and another that likened them to rats.

Around the 70th minute, referee Willy Delajod briefly halted play because of discriminatory chanting from the home end. A stadium announcement urged supporters to stop or risk the match being abandoned.

PSG will not avoid punishment, although it is expected to be measured. Options include a partial closure of the Auteuil stand, as happened for Lille’s visit on 16 January, or a heavy fine.

In September 2023, homophobic chants echoed by several Paris players led to sanctions for Ousmane Dembélé, Randal Kolo Muani, Achraf Hakimi and Layvin Kurzawa, plus the Auteuil stand being shut for one game. In April 2025, the same section was partly closed after insults and abusive songs aimed at former Paris midfielder Adrien Rabiot and his mother during an earlier PSG-OM.
