PSG provide update following Ousmane Dembélé’s injury | OneFootball

After being injured and substituted after just 30 minutes of play during Paris Saint-Germain’s 2-1 defeat away to Paris FC on Sunday evening, Ousmane Dembélé (29) received reassuring results from the medical tests he underwent this Monday.

“Having been taken off as a precaution after feeling discomfort in his right calf last night against Paris FC, Ousmane Dembélé will remain in the treatment room for the next few days,” PSG stated in their medical report.

A very welcome news for the recent winner of the Ligue 1 Player of the Season award, for whom the coming weeks are already shaping up to be pivotal. Expected to start in the Champions League final against Arsenal on 30th May in Budapest, Dembélé will then join the France squad, with whom he will fly to the United States shortly afterwards, where he will aim to help Les Bleus win their third World Cup title.

Having made 39 appearances for Les Rouge et Bleu since the start of the season, Dembélé has been decisive on 30 occasions, scoring 19 goals and providing 11 assists.
