PSG pull out of race for Yan Diomandé | OneFootball

Paris Saint-Germain have withdrawn from the pursuit of Yan Diomandé.

The club said in a statement on Sunday that they had ended their interest and offers. It described the proposed fee and salary demands as completely disproportionate and false, adding it would not deviate from its financial management and squad balance principles.

Diomandé, 19, is an Ivorian striker with Leipzig and had informed PSG he was prepared to join. A contractual agreement had been reached.

A recent push from Real Madrid has changed the dynamic, and the player could now move to the Spanish club.

Diomandé had been PSG’s priority target for this summer window.
