Paris Saint-Germain have moved to secure their project, extending head coach Luis Enrique to 2030 and renewing five players. The club said in a statement that Lucas Beraldo, Senny Mayulu, João Neves, Willian Pacho and Fabián Ruiz have also signed new deals.
The news landed on the night PSG returned to the Parc des Princes to face AS Monaco in Ligue One’s third round after opening away fixtures.
The extension further underlines PSG’s backing for the Spaniard, having already flagged plans to keep him to 2030 that were made official on Friday.
His tenure has reshaped the club’s methods and delivered dominance in France and in Europe. He has already won two Champions Leagues and is chasing a third in a row this season.
Beraldo and Mayulu are likely to become more important in the future. João Neves and Fabián Ruiz anchor the current midfield with Vitinha.
Ruiz attracted interest in the summer, so his renewal shuts the door elsewhere. Pacho is tied down to 2031 and is set to lead the back line when Marquinhos ends his Paris stint.
All six deals were confirmed before kick-off against Monaco, turning the build-up into a showcase of the Parisian project.
