Paris Saint-Germain have omitted left-back Lucas Digne from their squad to face Monaco on Friday, kick-off 21.05, in the third round of Ligue 1.

According to L'Équipe, the decision is sporting, with Digne enduring a difficult start on his PSG return. It comes even though regular starter Nuno Mendes serves the third and final match of his suspension after a red card against Lens in the Trophée des champions, a 0-1 defeat.
