Rafael Leão visited Corinthians’ CT Joaquim Grava to sharpen fitness before 2026/27, meeting Jesse Lingard and head coach Fernando Diniz during his stay.
"Top facilities. They made me feel at ease, everyone there," Leão said, speaking to PodPah on Thursday.
Corinthians football executive Marcelo Paz presented the forward with a number 10 shirt during the sessions.
Having played at the World Cup, Leão has yet to report back for Milan’s pre-season and is due to rejoin his team-mates on 29. He made use of the facilities and trained in the club’s kit.
"I really liked Corinthians, the people there were very good with me and the facilities were very good. I am training to return for pre-season, I let Milan know to avoid friction. Corinthians, thank you for opening the doors for me to train, and we never know about the future."
Leão’s Milan contract runs to June 2028. He has said he wants to open a new chapter after seven seasons, leaving a move this window possible. He prefers the Premier League or Spain, though only Fenerbahçe and Galatasaray of Türkiye have made formal approaches so far.
