Rangers ‘reject’ Galatasaray opening bid for Youssef Chermiti | OneFootball

Rangers have turned down Galatasaray’s opening approach for Youssef Chermiti, with the Ibrox club seeking a club-record fee before entertaining a sale, Fanatik reports.

The Istanbul side offered about €20m to €25m for the 22-year-old Portuguese forward, which was quickly dismissed. Rangers value him closer to €40m, a sum that would surpass their record departure when Calvin Bassey left for Fulham for €23m in 2022.

Chermiti, who joined from Everton in 2025, started Sunday’s league match against Hibernian and stressed he is focused on his development at Ibrox. He struck 15 goals in his debut season in Scotland across all competitions.
