Real Madrid enter race for 19-year-old Barcelona winger target – report | OneFootball

Said El Mala is making waves with his performances in the Bundesliga with 1.FC Koln, leading to him attracting interest from top clubs across Europe.

As reported already, FC Barcelona have taken a liking towards the 19-year-old winger, who has six goals and assists from ten Bundesliga appearances this season.

However, competition for the German prodigy’s services seems to be growing, as Manchester City have shown an interest in the player, and there is another new team in the race.

Real Madrid also eyeing Said El Mala

Indeed, according to Defensa Central, Barcelona’s bitter rivals Real Madrid have also taken note of Said El Mala and his breakthrough performances.

Juni Calafat, the club’s chief scout, has already begun monitoring the winger, who signed a new contract with Koln in July earlier this year.

A talented young left-winger, Said El Mala’s current market value stands at €18 million, but Koln are likely to hold out for a fee of at least €40 million in case of a sale next summer.

The report, however, specifies that the attacker is not a priority for Real Madrid for the summer of 2026, with Florentino Perez & co. having other more important targets on their agenda.

The same can be said for Barcelona as well, with the Catalans primarily on the lookout for a new striker and a centre-back before next season.

Said El Mala would be even less of a priority for the La Liga champions if they end up activating the €30 million buy option for Marcus Rashford, who has been impressing so far in his loan stint from Manchester United.
