Speculation surrounding Michael Olise and Real Madrid continues to gain momentum. After L’Équipe recently reported on the Bayern star’s desire to leave, Spanish media are now piling on. According to these reports, only one scenario is on the table for the 24-year-old: a move to Real Madrid.

Michael Olise’s future remains the dominant topic surrounding FC Bayern. While the Munich club continues to view the French national team player as unsellable, French and Spanish media are painting a completely different picture.

As transfer expert Andrés Onrubia explained on the program “SER Deportivos Mundial” on the Spanish radio station Cadena SER, Olise has made his decision very clear internally.

According to L’Équipe, Olise is said to have told several teammates on the French national team of his desire to wear the Real Madrid jersey in the future. Among the confidants with whom he is said to have spoken are his national team teammates Kylian Mbappé, Aurélien Tchouaméni, and Bayern teammate Dayot Upamecano.

Onrubia commented: “Olise doesn’t want to consider any more offers, neither from the Premier League nor from any other club. It’s either Real Madrid or nothing.” According to Onrubia, Olise also believes that “an opportunity like the one at Real Madrid—which he considers the best club in the world—comes only once in a lifetime.”

Bayern has so far stood by its position.

According to reports, Olise has also reportedly already signaled to his family that he wants to leave FC Bayern this summer. In addition, he has reportedly asked Mbappé and Tchouaméni about the conditions at Real Madrid.

At Säbener Straße, the stance remains unchanged so far. Bayern’s bosses have repeatedly emphasized that they do not want to let the star forward go.

According to information from Cadena SER, the ball is now in Real Madrid’s court. Should the Spanish record champions actually make a serious move, a world-record transfer fee would be necessary just to bring FC Bayern to the negotiating table.

Regardless, neither Olise nor Bayern Munich nor Real Madrid has yet commented publicly on the latest reports. It therefore remains to be seen whether the speculation will develop into concrete negotiations in the coming weeks.
