Real Madrid have received good news ahead of their La Liga clash with Getafe, as Kylian Mbappe has returned to full training and is set to be available for selection on Sunday.
According to a report from Mundo Deportivo, the French superstar joined his teammates without any issues following a minor ankle problem sustained while on international duty.
Earlier today, we reported that Mbappe was still feeling discomfort in his ankle and remained a doubt for this tie. However, he trained normally, providing Real Madrid a massive boost.
With Mbappe back, Xabi Alonso now has his full contingent of players who travelled with their national teams.
Recent returns include Vinicius Jr., Eder Militao, Rodrygo, Eduardo Camavinga, Arda Guler, and Brahim Diaz, giving the new coach more options ahead of a busy schedule.
It must be noted that Mbappe arrived back early from France to address the ankle problem and has been cleared to participate fully in training.

His availability for the Getafe match will now depend on Alonso’s rotation plans, with the coach potentially managing his minutes ahead of the upcoming Champions League clash against Juventus and the El Clasico.
Describing the team’s preparations, the Real Madrid website detailed the session as, “The training session began with individual activations in the gym.
“Once on the pitch, the players divided into several rounds before working on tactical aspects and set pieces. Finally, they completed attacking/defensive drills and shooting on goal.”
Meanwhile, some key players remain sidelined. Dani Ceballos, Dani Carvajal, Dean Huijsen, Trent Alexander-Arnold, and Antonio Rudiger are all dealing with injuries and will miss the Getafe match.
The club confirmed that these players continued their recovery by training indoors.
The return of Mbappe and other internationals is a timely boost for Real Madrid, as Alonso looks to balance squad fitness while preparing for crucial fixtures in both La Liga and Europe.
In the coming days, those who are nursing their issues, excluding Rudiger, will eventually return to action.
