Real Madrid’s commitment to youth development continues to pay dividends, and the latest example has already begun to resonate far beyond Valdebebas. 

According to a recent update shared by Fichajes, 19-year-old defender Victor Valdepenas has started to attract serious attention across Europe after making his senior debut for the club last weekend against Alaves.

Valdepenas’ introduction to La Liga was understated but significant. Thrust into a demanding environment, the academy graduate delivered a composed performance that reflected maturity well beyond his age. 

Within the club, his progress has been carefully monitored for some time, and his first-team appearance is seen as a natural reward for steady, consistent growth rather than a sudden gamble.

In fact, the report highlights that several major European clubs have already activated their internal monitoring processes, with Arsenal, Borussia Dortmund, and Bayer Leverkusen all keeping close tabs on the young centre-back.

Arsenal are among the most attentive admirers at this early stage. The Premier League side is planning for the future of their defence and believe Valdepenas fits the profile they value highly. 

Under Mikel Arteta, the club prioritises defenders who are comfortable in possession, tactically intelligent, and physically robust.

Valdepenas is viewed as a player capable of adapting to the intensity of English football while contributing to build-up play from the back.

Interest is equally strong in Germany. Both Borussia Dortmund and Bayer Leverkusen are monitoring his situation closely, aware of his potential and mindful of their own track records in developing young talent. 

Despite the growing attention, no formal offers have been submitted. All three clubs are proceeding cautiously, respecting both Real Madrid’s position and the player’s current priorities.
