Real Sociedad’s ratings as Jon Martín opened his account with a commanding header and Brais struck late, while Levante were kept out by Remiro’s clean sheet.

According to AS, Oyarzabal drew a save to a corner inside the opening minute. At 11 Guedes crossed and Oyarzabal hit the post. At 19 Guedes shot just wide, then a minute later his effort deflected behind.

After the break, Sucic crashed a drive off the bar on 55 and went off on 62, as did Barrenetxea. Caleta-Car departed on 68. Guedes hit the bar on 74, the ball kissed the line and went out. Remiro saved on 78, and Turrientes and Guedes left on 84.

Remiro was composed, often stepping in as a third centre-back. Aramburu was steady on the right, overlapping and recovering well.

Jon Martín impressed at the back and finally scored for Real, powering in a corner. Booked, he will miss Alavés.

Caleta-Car was sound despite one risky pass. Sergio Gómez defended well and delivered crosses, and Turrientes grafted. Soler dictated play, his corner assisted Jon Martín and he went close with a rocket. Guedes was a menace before going off on 84, and Barrenetxea was bright, booked and replaced on 62 with a left calf issue.

Oyarzabal worked for 90, slipped Sucic through but Ryan arrived first. Marín almost scored and then set up Brais to make it 2-0. Aritz overcomplicated a box action. Oskarsson had 10 minutes, and Ibai Agirre debuted with 10.
