Real Sociedad ‘to move for’ Ladislav Krejci as defensive option | OneFootball

Real Sociedad are exploring a deal for Wolverhampton’s Ladislav Krejci as they seek defensive reinforcements, with initial talks between the clubs still far apart on valuation.

Fabrizio Romano reports that La Real rate the 27-year-old highly and he is emerging as their preferred option for the back line.

The Czech international is versatile and knows La Liga from his time at Girona. Standing 191 centimetres, he left Girona a year ago when Wolverhampton paid about €30 million, and Wolves were relegated last season to the Championship.

Real plan to continue discussions because he fits the profile they are targeting in defence. Other Premier League clubs are also tracking him.

Real, together with Athletic and Villarreal, remain without any additions. The league begins in two weeks, though La Real open on 21 August against Betis at La Cartuja.
