Following AC Milan’s important 2-1 win against Como, the Italian newspapers have shared their verdicts on each player, with Tijjani Reijnders and Christian Pulisic named as the best.
Pulisic got Milan back into the game with a lovely strike, making it 1-1, and Reijnders then completed the comeback with a composed finish after a great pass by Tammy Abraham. In short, individual quality was certainly behind the Rossoneri’s win.
Taking a look at the ratings handed out by Gazzetta dello Sport, Corriere dello Sport and Tuttosport (see images below), Reijnders was named the MOTM as they all gave him a 7.5/10. In our player ratings, he was rated a bit higher at 8/10.
Pulisic wasn’t far behind as the papers gave him a 7/10, given just how good that equaliser was, and he continued his good form from the Lecce game. As for the worst Milan player, it was an easy choice for the papers after Yunus Musah’s miss. Once again, the papers thought the same at 4.5/10.
