Report Conte demand of minimum €15m salary from Fenerbahce | OneFootball

Turkish reports claim two Fenerbahce Presidential candidates approached Antonio Conte, but he is demanding €15m wages plus a bonus of €5m.

The coach will be a free agent this summer after agreeing to leave Napoli by mutual consent, having won the Scudetto and the Supercoppa Italiana in his two years at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona.

He has been linked with a return to the Italy bench, or even a sabbatical to take a year off, but there are clubs outside of Italy pushing for his signature too.

Fenerbahce are in an unusual situation, as no decisions can be made until the Presidential elections are completed, but it’s claimed that both Aziz Yildirim and Hakan Safi approached Conte to lead their project.

According to Fanatik, the Italian set some pretty specific terms of his wage demands, wanting at least €15m for one year, plus a bonus of another €5m if he wins the Turkish league title.

They are eager to relaunch with ambition after falling behind bitter rivals Galatasaray.

It would also not be Conte’s first experience abroad, seeing as he coached both Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur in England.
