Juventus are pushing to finalise a deal for Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson, with negotiations between the two clubs now understood to be in their decisive phase, and the Bianconeri pressing ahead despite missing out on Champions League football.
According to journalist Romeo Agresti, via Goal.com, Juventus have been working on the operation for several weeks and are now moving to close the deal.
Alisson would arrive on a permanent basis, with Juventus prepared to pay Liverpool a fee to secure the Brazilian’s release, and a three-year contract until June 2029 is understood to be ready for the goalkeeper to sign.

The pursuit of Alisson is driven by a clear need. Michele Di Gregorio endured a difficult debut season at the club, regularly alternating with Mattia Perin, and Luciano Spalletti has been explicit about his desire to add both quality and leadership to the squad.
Alisson, a Champions League and Premier League winner with enormous experience at the highest level, fits that profile precisely.
The Brazilian’s departure from Liverpool had appeared uncertain given Juventus’s failure to qualify for the Champions League, a competition Alisson has competed in throughout his time at Anfield since joining from Roma in 2018.
However, Juventus’s pursuit has not cooled, and the club appear determined to make the move work regardless of competing in the Europa League next season.
