Juventus believe Andrey Santos is a realistic option should a move for Marseille’s Pierre Emile Hojbjerg fail to materialise.
Santos joined Chelsea in January 2023 from Brazilian club Vasco da Gama in a deal believed to worth just £13m, and is looking somewhat of a bargain.
The 21-year-old spent 18 months on loan at French club Strasbourg after a failed loan at Nottingham Forest, and made his debut at the Club World Cup.
Santos was the target of an approach from Saudi side Al-Qadsiah in the summer, but turned it down whilst the likes of Bayern Munich have also shown interest.
The Brazil international is now part of the first team at Chelsea and has made 18 appearances in all competitions this season, scoring once with four assists.

Santos is currently competing with the likes of Moises Caicedo and Enzo Fernandez for a place in Chelsea’s midfield, and with the January window around the corner he’s been linked with Juventus.
According to Tutto Juve the Serie A side view Santos as a realistic and appealing option should a move for Marseille’s Hojbjerg fail to materialise.
Santos is highly regarded at Chelsea, and the Blues insisted he wasn’t for sale in the summer, and that stance is likely to remain in the upcoming windows.
Santos has taken on more importance given the injury issues with Romeo Lavia this season, and the Belgian is once again sidelined.

Lavia picked up an injury last month against Qarabag, and his return date is unknown, despite it being reported he would be out for at least a month, he still hasn’t returned and Enzo Maresca isn’t sure when the midfielder will be back in action.
Chelsea will hope Lavia can be fit to play some part in the second half of the season, but right now the Blues will have to get by without him, which has been all too familiar since he arrived.
