Inter Milan superstar Hakan Calhanoglu could reportedly leave the club in the summer to join Turkish giants Galatasaray.

According to Corriere della Sera via FCInterNews, this could be the 32-year-old’s final season at San Siro.

Hakan Calhanoglu appeared to be close to moving to Istanbul last summer.

Indeed, his agent had held talks with both Fenerbahce and Galatasaray over a potential transfer to the Super Lig.

However, Cristian Chivu convinced the player to stay put, perhaps only denying the inevitable.

Calhanoglu’s current contract runs out in 2027, with Inter yet to open extension talks with their standout midfielder.

On the other hand, Galatasaray vice-president Abdullah Kavukcu yesterday confirmed the club’s overwhelming desire to sign the former AC Milan man.

Indeed, the Rams Park giants are confident of luring Calhanoglu back to his homeland.

As for the player, he has yet to reveal his plans, though his silence speaks volumes.
