Rob Edwards has ruled Sam Johnstone out of Wolves’ Premier League trip to Leeds United on Saturday, with a late decision to follow on Matt Doherty.

According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, centre-back Yerson Mosquera will miss out after his 10th booking in the 4-0 loss at West Ham triggered a two-match suspension.

Johnstone suffered a shoulder injury and Doherty picked up a knock before that game, and neither was in the squad at West Ham.

Edwards said at his pre-Leeds press conference that Johnstone would not travel to Elland Road. He added that Doherty is pushing to be involved, and that a late call will be taken.

Elsewhere, Paraguayan winger Enso González has not featured for the first team this season. His under-21 run ended in February because of a meniscus injury that required surgery, with an initial timeframe of about two months.
