Rodrigo Mora arrived in Rome on Tuesday afternoon to undergo a medical, expected on Wednesday, and sign a five-year contract with Roma, O Jogo reports.
Before travelling, the 19-year-old stopped at Olival to say goodbye to team-mates and collect personal belongings. He did not train under Francesco Farioli.
Porto will receive an upfront €25 million, which could rise by a further €2 million in performance-related add-ons, along with 50 per cent of any future sale.
Roma also hold an option to buy the remaining rights for another €25 million, which would cancel Porto’s 50 per cent of a future transfer, with Porto retaining a matching option to sell on the same terms.
Mora is expected to keep the number 86 shirt he wore at Porto.
