Roma are starting their hunt for a new attacker.

Yesterday, against Como, it wasn’t the center forward or an attacking player who decided the match. The Giallorossi created plenty of opportunities up front, but it was Wesley who gave them the three points.

Now Gian Piero Gasperini expects another gift, but on the transfer market.

The target has been set, and Frederic Massara’s list is filling up.

The latest name is Albert Gudmundsson. The Icelander, admittedly, isn’t Gasperini’s favorite, but he could be an opportunity.

Fiorentina’s last-place finish in the league table is putting several players on the back burner. One of these is the former Genoa player, who could even leave in January if the right offer were made.

Roma like him, but for now, it’s just an idea. There are no negotiations or contacts, at least not at the moment.

As reported by transfer expert Matteo Moretto, Roma are pursuing Gudmundsson.

Fiorentina may consider letting the 1997-born attacking midfielder leave in January, but to date there have been no contacts between the two clubs.

The situation is different regarding Joshua Zirkzee. The Dutchman is the first name on the list, but an agreement with Manchester United has not yet been reached.
