Roma ‘to pay’ cut-price €15m for VfL Wolfsburg's Koulierakis | OneFootball

According to Fabrizio Romano, Roma will pay a cut-price €15 million to relegated Bundesliga side Wolfsburg for 22-year-old centre-back Konstantinos Koulierakis.

Wolfsburg and Koulierakis are set to part company, with the Greek defender poised to follow compatriot Kostas Manolas in heading to Roma.

Koulierakis joined Wolfsburg from PAOK Thessaloniki in summer 2024 for €11.75 million and made an immediate impression.

After relegation to the 2. Bundesliga, it became increasingly clear the Greek international would like to move on.

Juventus, Benfica and clubs from England had shown interest in the centre-half.

Despite a contract running to 2029, any profit for Wolfsburg appears likely to be minimal.
