Despite being only 17, she has been among Valadares Gaia's standout performers in this women's football season, and she featured against Benfica in a Liga BPI draw.

The report says the club were impressed by her qualities, viewing her as one of the surprises and revelations of the competition, and that she could strengthen midfield next term.

This season Parkinson has made 21 official appearances, 14 in Liga BPI, five in Taça da Liga, one in Taça de Portugal and one in Taça da AF do Porto, totalling 1,609 minutes with four goals and two assists.
