Salah backs move as Trabzonspor ‘to meet’ Al Hilal over Darwin Nunez | OneFootball

Trabzonspor are pursuing Al-Hilal striker Darwin Nunez, with Mohamed Salah supportive of the move, and a meeting is planned this week. The Turkish side would also consider a loan to strengthen their attack.

HT Spor reports that an offer worth eight million euros per year has been sent to Al-Hilal, with Trabzonspor ready to cover 40% of Nunez's wages. The Uruguayan is on about 20 million euros in Saudi Arabia.

The proposal is now with club and player, and Al-Hilal are pushing to raise the fee. Trabzonspor want to accelerate talks and are targeting Nunez's arrival in Trabzon next week.

Club chiefs consulted Salah before proceeding, and he gave the signing his blessing. Vice-president Ibrahim Sahinkaya has arranged talks with Al-Hilal officials in Saudi Arabia this week to finalise financial details.

Nunez, 27, made 24 appearances for Al-Hilal last season, scoring nine goals and adding five assists.
