Mohamed Salah's season to forget has had its latest low point with a dreadful penalty miss at a crunch moment in their second leg tie with Galatasaray. 

Dominik Szoboszlai gave Liverpool the lead with a stunning goal and then won the spot kick inside first-half injury time.

With the chance to both give the Reds the lead on aggregate and become the first African player to score 50 goals in the Champions League, Salah fluffed his lines, clipping his effort straight at the legs of Uğurcan Çakir. 

It followed on from a similarly poor attempt when through one-on-one when he tried and failed to chip the Gala keeper.
