Sami Khedira ‘to return’ to Real Madrid as Mourinho assistant coach | OneFootball

Fabrizio Romano reports that an agreement is already in place for Sami Khedira to become an assistant coach under José Mourinho at Real Madrid.

However, Sky Germany says Khedira is keen on the move but several details still need to be negotiated, including the length of a potential contract.

Khedira retired from professional football in 2021.

He represented Real Madrid between 2015 and 2021, scoring nine goals and providing 13 assists in 161 appearances.

At international level, he earned 77 caps for Germany, scoring seven goals.
