According to Diario Do Peixe, Santos renegotiated and restructured Neymar’s image-rights debt with NR Sports on 30/12/2025, totalling R$ 90,500,000. The CT Meninos da Vila was pledged as collateral, with payment terms linked to president Marcelo Teixeira’s possible re-election and any conversion into a SAF.
The document was signed in person by Marcelo Teixeira, vice-president Fernando Bonavides and legal director Daniel Curi. Altamiro Lopes Bezerra, financial director at Instituto Neymar and an NR Sports board member, also signed.
The club must pay R$ 26,000,000 in five monthly instalments of R$ 5,200,000 from January to May this year. The remaining R$ 64,500,000 is set across 43 monthly instalments of R$ 1,500,000, starting the month after the fifth payment, indexed to IPCA/FGV. If met, the final instalment falls on 30/12/2029.
A clause accelerates execution if Teixeira is not re-elected, with elections in the first half of December this year, requiring the next president to settle the total at once. Another clause does the same if the club becomes a SAF. If it does not and the total is unpaid, the CT Meninos da Vila serves as security.
Clause five imposes a daily fine of one percent of the total due if Santos refuses to sign the CT assignment instrument. The addendum lacks an internal control number and notary registration, with management committee minutes on 12/01/2026 requesting regularisation after the 31/12/2025 accounts closed. The club had not replied to a request for comment at publication.
