Bild claims Schalke are set to sign Freiburg's forward Junior Adamu after a short loan at Celtic.

The 25-year-old is said to have undergone a medical with the Royal Blues on Thursday.

The proposed fee is €800,000, significantly below his €3 million Transfermarkt valuation.

Adamu spent the second half of the 2025/26 season on loan at Celtic, making six appearances, scoring once and providing one assist.

For Freiburg, he has seven goals and four assists in 67 appearances.
