Ramovic faces uncertain future at Belouizdad

Foot Africa understands that Sead Ramovic is facing an uncertain future at CR Belouizdad following his suspension by the club last week.

The details surrounding his suspension remain unclear at this stage amid a string of poor results in the Algerian Ligue 1.

CRB currently sit seventh on the log standings, having picked up 32 points from 20 league outings, and risk missing out on CAF inter-club football next season.

Ramovic's men have registered three wins in the league since the turn of the year, losing twice with as many draws.

The German mentor, however, guided Belouizdad to the CAF Confederation Cup semi-finals before the FIFA international break.

Despite edging closer to continental glory, the Chababists' hierarchy is understood to be assessing potential candidates to take over from the former TS Galaxy coach.

Sources have indicated that Tunisian mentor Nabil Maaloul, whose contract with Qadsia SC of Kuwait expires in June, is in talks with Belouizdad.

Furthermore, Al-Hilal Omdurman boss Laurentiu Reghecampf is also said to be under consideration to succeed Ramovic in the hot seat.

With the final verdict over his future at Belouizdad expected today, it remains to be seen whether the 47-year-old tactician will be in the dugout against Paradou AC tomorrow.
