Brighton & Hove Albion cruised past bottom-of-the-league Wolverhampton Wanderers to get closer to European football next season.
Seagulls boss Fabian Hürzeler signed a new deal with the club this week and had an excellent start of the game that saw this result look secure early on.
Indeed, it was a lightning-fast start for Brighton who found the net with just over 30 seconds gone on the clock when Maxim De Cuyper crossed in from the left with Jack Hinshelwood heading past goalkeeper Daniel Bentley.
Then before five minutes were gone in the match it was 2-0. This time a corner delivery from the right by De Cuyper with Lewis Dunk rising highest to head home.
From that point on it was an easy afternoon for Brighton although they had to wait until late on to really finish the job when Yankuba Minteh found space in the Wolves box and fired home.
That result means Brighton are now on 53 points and stay ahead of Bournemouth who defeated Fulham in their fixture. Wolves meanwhile remain sat at the bottom of the Premier League.
