Andrée Jeglertz’s first signing since winning the Barclays Women’s Super League title and FA Cup last season has penned a deal with the Blues which will see her remain at the Joie Stadium until the summer of 2029.

An undoubted icon of the women’s game, Mead arrives after an illustrious career so far which has seen her lift the Barclays Women’s Super League, Champions League and back-to-back European Championships.
Her stellar performances during the 2021/22 campaign also earned the record WSL assist maker the honour of winning the 2022 BBC Sports Personality of the Year award.
Ready to write the next chapter of her wonderful career after signing for City, she’ll be aiding the Blues’ push for further honours under Jeglertz’s stewardship which includes a European quest next season.
